2021 BOARD ELECTION INFORMATION
for the Cache Valley Association of REALTORS®

Video Introduction of Candidates…

Candidate for 2021 President-Elect…

Marian Fielding Parker Real Estate

In 1999 I moved to Cache Valley. I also received my real estate license that same year. In 2001 I became licensed in Idaho and in 2003 earned the Associate Broker designation. I have also received my GRI designation. I am constantly expanding my education. I have completed the “Ninja Selling Installation” twice, and attended the “Ninja Leadership” February 2019. I am also a CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert). I am currently serving on the Board of Directors for Cache Education Foundation, on the executive board for my kids’ PTA, have previously served on the United Way of Cache Valley Board of Directors (twice on their allocations committee), VP and past President of our local Richmond Lions Club, the North Cache Senior Support Center and various teaching and leadership positions in my church.

I have been a member of the association for nearly 20 years. I have seen a lot of different market situations. Yet I can not say “I’ve seen it all,” because everyday we see and experience something new. But I can use the experience I have and try to apply it to a situation. I’m associate broker with Parker Real Estate and have been mentored by some of the industry’s very best!

One of my favorite mantras is “Believe there is good in the world” or “Be The Good”. I believe we have the best association in the state. I believe we have the best CEO. I believe we are the most professional, educated, generous, hard working and charitable agents and affiliates. Lets Keep the Association Great, and Be The Good.

Candidate for Treasurer…

Kyle Saunders Century 21 N&N Realtors®

I am a proud product of Cache Valley including graduating with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Utah State University. When asked to take the Bridgerland Real Estate program under my wing as department head, I had no idea that it would ultimately lead to my becoming a realtor myself. The past 6 years have been a real estate roller coaster ride with its ups and downs and I have enjoyed every minute of the adventure. Associating with people like you has been rewarding and at times entertaining. We have the best association!

Over the years, I have spent much of my time serving on the education committee as an affiliate member representing Bridgerland, a realtor member, co-chair, and chair. Currently, I am serving as the treasurer for the association. I enjoy the opportunity to pay-it-forward to the association that has given so much to me. Thank you in advance for your vote of confidence and I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving the association.

Candidates for Director… (3 positions available)

Brittany Andrus Engel & VÖlkers Logan

Brittany has been with the Youngblood real estate team for five years. She and her husband Ron work as a dynamite duo and thoroughly enjoy working together and with their clients! Brittany is especially passionate about all things real estate. Brittany has a background in teaching and loves to educate her clients about the home buying process. With 300 transactions under their belt, Brittany feels she can say, with authority, they love what they do and they love people they’ve had the privilege of meeting along the way. Ron and Brittany, or Team Andrus, were awarded REALTOR of the YEAR in 2018. Brittany prides herself in being an active and involved member of the community. She has served on The Realtors Political Action Committee, The Good Neighbor Committee, the New Member Orientation Committee, the Advocacy Committee, The School Community and The PTA. Brittany maintains a strong sense of community and continually seeks new and creative ways to give back. Brittany Graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Home Economics Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. She taught Home Economics at a Junior High School in Arizona for six years. It was in Arizona where she met and married Ron. They moved to Cache Valley because it’s where they wanted to raise a family, and we must say, it’s the best place for doing just that. For Brittany and Ron, family is everything, they consider themselves the luckiest people around to have curated a professional life in where they can work alongside each other. Not only do they love working as a team, their clients love it too. Brittany’s favorite past time is being with their two children. They love road tripping as a family and exploring the U.S. Yet, it’s at home, in Cache Valley, where Brittany’s passion can be felt as she lives for a good home project, hosting parties and people and has a reputation for being an expert baker. (Psst! You must try her infamous cake bites.)

Chelsea Funk Presidio Real Estate

I’ve lived in Cache Valley all my life and truly think it is a great place to live, work and raise my family. I have 4 children, and 2 dogs plus some pretty cool son in laws. I currently invest in Real Estate because I believe it is a stable investment.

I have been a Realtor for almost 7 years .  I was excited to be awarded the Rookie of the Year Award in my first year as a Realtor. I worked in the business as an assistant when I was in high school and always envisioned owning my own Brokerage. This dream came true this spring when I opened Presidio Real Estate Cache Valley.

I love serving the community and the Real Estate industry. I was a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors board and then served as the President last year. I also have served on the RPAC and Education and Community Outreach Committees of the Cache Valley Realtors. In these positions I was fortunate in being able to travel to the National and State Conventions. I truly understand the important role that Realtors have in promoting home ownership.

If elected, I want to increase the relationship between Realtors and the community. I would love to represent you on the Board of Realtors and be able to give back to the industry that has opened so many doors for me.

Dakota Bodily Shadow Mountain Realty

I am a Cache Valley native and love living here in our valley. I have 3 kids (twin 4 year olds and a 1 year old) and feel very fortunate to be able to raise them here in this community. I love this community and want to help grow and maintain this great area. I have been a real estate agent for over 7 years now; I am the broker/owner of Shadow Mountain Realty. As a side note I am the best looking Realtor in Utah… As a Realtor I love working with people and other agents in our Association. Our industry plays a big part in shaping our community, we give a lot of voice and service to local business, government and individuals. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve in our Association and continue the high quality of service that we have become accustomed to.

Rachel Erickson Abode & Co Real Estate

First a couple of things about me: I’m fortunate enough to be married to my best friend, and we have three amazing teenage boys. I love to read, love the outdoors, love yoga, music and I love Cache Valley. I’ve experienced a few bumps in my road including two bouts with breast cancer and one of my sweet boys had a brain aneurism and stroke where he lost the use of his left side. I need to express gratitude as so many of you reached out to us and supported us through those tough times. Now as our community and our world are experiencing tough times, I am reminded again of how important it is for all of us to pull together. That’s really the main reason I’m running for a Director in our Association. I don’t have any special abilities or gifts but I can give my time. I hope that as Real Estate continues to evolve and change that we can work together as an Association to adapt and improve in ways that will make not only our jobs as Realtors better; but make our community stronger, safer, and better.
