The expressions of gratitude on the receivers’ faces was the best part!!! It is always such a blessing to be able to lift others up & bring joy to others by giving of ourselves. I feel so blessed to have been a part of this fun, exciting & tremendously rewarding event! It was so fun getting to work with the recipients, Realtors® and affiliates who participated. I plan to get involved EVERY YEAR.

-Layna Jarvis, Youngblood Real Estate

The task of getting the first “property revitalization project” off the ground was overwhelming at first, but I was pleasantly surprised at the number of CVAR Realtors® who turned out to help. Seeing everyone come together for not one, but three projects was incredible, from the committee, to the contractors and volunteers, completion was nothing short of a miracle. There is no doubt in my mind that we changed lives for the better. We lifted spirits and fulfilled needs.

-Blake Ostler, Youngblood Real Estate

When I think about my experience participating in the property projects, I’m reminded of the extreme gratitude & relief felt by the recipients. A woman with no heat, a wounded veteran forced to crawl up the stairs into his home, and a widow desperately trying to maintain a family home. We were able to meet the needs that they were unable to meet on their own. Watching CVAR Realtors® come together, give of their time and resources to benefit others was extremely rewarding. I’m looking forward to seeing what projects will be completed in the future!

CONSUMER OUTREACH ANNUAL PROJECT

This annual project seeks to improve the quality of life within the communities encompassed by the Association.
This is accomplished by organizing human volunteers to conduct a property revitalization project for a homeowner in need. Projects are chosen by a committee made up of Association members.

The project will take place over the course of several days and can include landscape cleanup & planting, garbage removal, etc. If needed, project may include necessary repairs and improvements to the exterior of the home.

A licensed contractor will oversee the project and inspect upon completion. Cache Valley Association of REALTORS® will organize volunteers from within the Association and provide all equipment and tools necessary to complete the project.

The property must be within Cache or Rich, Utah counties, or in Franklin County, Idaho. The work completed must be something that the homeowner, due to health, financial or other circumstances, couldn’t otherwise complete on their own.

Do you know a local homeowner who would be the ideal candidate for the 2020 Realtor® Property Revitalization Project? Submit an application for consideration! Qualifications for eligibility are listed within the application. Only those applications that are filled out completely, and which meet the requirements listed will be considered. Anyone (a CVAR member or the general public) may submit an application for consideration. Applications must be submited to info@cachevalleyrealtors.com no later than March 31, 2020.
