Attendance Options… What to Know BEFORE you Register

With COVID protocols still in place, changes must be made to the event to ensure a safe learning environment for all attendees.
Please read below for details on both IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL attendance options.

IN-PERSON

Attendance will be limited to 65 guests to ensure proper physical spacing.

Those wishing to attend in-person must register for “block” segments. There will be 2 blocks… Day 1 & Day 2. This means if you wish to attend one class on Day 1, you are registering for ALL classes on Day 1. Your seat will be your seat for the entire day.

If you choose the in-person option,
you are making a commitment to attend.

IF YOU REGISTER FOR A BLOCK, you are taking a seat and must plan to attend the block in its entirety. Failure to attend the block in full will result in a cancellation fee of $50. Example: if you attend course 1 & 2 during the block 1 (day 1) but do not stay for course 3, you will be charged the cancellation fee. Each block requires separate registration.

We realize this cancellation policy is not the norm… but neither is the current pandemic environment that we are living in. We have limited seating, and because of that, it is important to us that those who wish to participate in the full event are able to do so. Unfortunately, we do not have the time, staff or resources to switch out table linens and sanitize spaces in between each course.

The cancellation fee also applies to “no-shows.” All cancellations must be made by Monday, February 1st by 5:00 p.m. to avoid the cancellation fee.

VIRTUAL

Virtual attendance is open to ALL members of the Association.

Those who wish to attend from the safety and comfort of their home or office must also register for courses. If you elect to attend virtually, you will have the options to register for desired classes individually rather than by blocks (unlike the in-person option).

Attendance verification will be monitored!
Live audio & video are required.

We will be using ZOOM video conferencing to live stream the CE classes to virtual attendees. Virtual attendees will be required to have working audio AND video, turned on for the duration of the course. THIS WILL BE MONITORED! The Division requires that all virtual attendees full attendance be verified by someone other than the instructor. We will be strict with this policy. If you leave your screen, or your screen goes black for more than 10 minutes, you will not qualify to receive CE credit.

You will be provided the ZOOM link and access code, along with a PDF file of the instructors presentation slides the day prior to the event. Through ZOOM, you will be able to see and hear the instructor and submit any questions through the chat room. A monitor will address your questions with instructor the best we can.

With the virtual option, there will be NO cancellation fee for non-attendance.
