Nonprofit Group to Collect $2K Check

The Cache-Rich Association of Realtors will donate $2,000 to the local Habitat for Humanity today.
The money will go toward helping to complete a home for a single mother of three in Hyrum. The check will be presented at 3:30 p.m. today in Logan.
Funding for the donation comes from the Utah Association of Realtors Housing Opportunity Fund, a nonprofit corporation meant to provide financial resources to sponsor or support the development of affordable home ownership opportunities for low-income individuals and families.
The home in Hyrum is being built by professionals, volunteers and the family that will later become the homeowners. The goal is to complete the home this year through donated funds, material and labor. UARHOF funds will be used to finish the exterior of the home.
